Carolyn Johnson | Owner
Carolyn Johnson has been a kitchen designer since 2003. Her goals is quite simply to use her ideas to create functional, well-designed space for her clients. She hopes that by bringing her experience to a project it will help her customers make educated decisions, with no surprises throughout the process, and great results. Carolyn has a Mass Communications degree from the University of Minnesota, and an A.D. from Century College in Kitchen and Bath Design. She is AKBD certified and a licensed contractor with the state of Minnesota. She has two boys, loves to cook, spend time at her hobby farm, practice yoga and listen to live music.
Aaron Garner | Director of Business Development
Aaron Garner has been in construction industry since the calendar rolled into this millennium. Starting his career in 2000, he is a veteran project manager with a demonstrated history of managing multiple projects and punch lists at the same time. Aaron’s organizational ability to manage projects from the initial design phase through passing the keys off to the client is impeccable and his attention to detail is unlike any other. When tasked with an assignment, large or small, Aaron will not only complete it within the timeline allotted and within the respected budget, he will deliver an exceptional end product. Aaron is certified from the University of Minnesota in Project Management. Away from Satoree, Aaron enjoys working out, studying architectural design, traveling, being outdoors and out on the lake. Aaron volunteers his time coaching youth hockey, serving at the Ronald McDonald House and being involved in his community, Bloomington, Minnesota.
Sarah Woxland | Flooring Sales Manager
Sarah is a flooring professional with a “get things done” attitude. Her education in Construction/Project Management and excellent communication skills make her valuable to the industry. With a charismatic and loyal personality, she has the ability to create relationships immediately and problem solve effectively. Sarah’s love for her family/friends, outdoors and golden retrievers is what motivates her to be a strong leader in her community and anywhere the day takes her.
Jessie Drometer | Designer / Sales
Jessie Drometer has been designing kitchens and bathrooms since 2002. Her architectural drafting background and keen eye for details lets Jessie’s creativity shine. She dives in with an enthusiasm level that is characteristic of our design studio. She enjoys working with customers to help make their homes more functional and enjoyable for years to come. When not at work, Jessie loves spending time at the cabin with her husband and 2 kids.
Mary McHale-Bizal | Designer / Sales
Mary McHale-Bizal has enjoyed designing and managing interior additions and renovations since 2004. She shines at listening to clients and, together, achieving a space that blends functionally with a nod to each client’s unique, personal style. As a long-time interior design and decorative painter, Mary can seamlessly blend new spaces into the existing to create a harmoniously whole. She is a graduate of SCSU, married, and a mom of three. Away from Satoree, Mary enjoys family, friends, cooking, biking and (a lot) of time at hockey rinks!
Angela Story | Designer / Sales
Angela Story Angela earned her bachelor’s degree in Design Management, and is an instrumental part of the team at Satoree. With equal parts left and right brain, Angela’s creative eye and her attention to detail enable her to execute projects successfully. A die-hard Vikings fan who bleeds purple all year long. During her free time she likes to travel, do yoga, and spend time with friends and family.
Sara Wilson | Designer / Sales
Sara Wilson earned her bachelor's degree in Interior Design and has been in the industry since 2011. Her keen sense of style, attention to detail and space planning perspective is what brought her to Satoree Kitchen & Bath. She specializes in traditional and contemporary compositions but also excels in creating unique designs that reflect the client’s personality and comfort. One of Sara’s most valuable attributes is the ability to listen to her client’s wants and needs and then delivers an outcome that exceeds their exceptions. She's a designer by day and dog rescuer at night. Sara volunteers her time to take care of and support foster dogs and keeps herself involved in numerous rescue events.
Skylar Allen | Designer/CAD Specialist
Skylar Allen is a Project Manager & Design Associate and works directly with our vendors and customers to ensure projects run as smooth possible. Skylar has worked hard to earn the trust and reliability his position demands. Skylar loves maintaining his orchids. Spending time at his house in North-East Minneapolis, and is an serious Pringles enthusiast.
Michelle Asche | Design Associate
Michelle Asche has a keen eye for design and detail. She loves a space planning puzzle and utilizing her love of math in a creative endeavor. She decided to pursue a career in design after years in the classroom as a Kindergarten/ESL teacher. Michelle holds a degree in Interior Design as well as a Masters in Education. Michelle has travelled the world and loves to incorporate world elements into her designs. In her freetime, Michelle can be found walking in nature, dancing to Latin or Kizomba music, or boarding an airplane to an adventure overseas.

Brittany Hughes | Marketing / Project Management
Brittany Hughes is a Project Manager who uses her organizational talent and communication skills to bring together designers, contractors and vendors, with the aim of producing a coordinated project. She is results driven! With a calm demeanor and friendly personality she is able to resolve issues fast and efficiently. When not in the office, you can find her at the gym either on the track running or in the pool swimming.
Jennifer Shroeder | Project Manager Commercial
Jennifer Shroeder is an experienced project manager with a background in interior and common area Multi-Family renovations. Her strong organizational skills and collaborative team spirit produces smoothly executed projects. In her free time Jennifer is typically planning her next trip, spoiling her Goldendoodle, and volunteering with various Minnesota based non-profits.
Holly Shaw | Project Manager / Residential
Holly began her career as a Project Manager working for advertising agencies. Her passion for kitchen and bath design eventually led her to DIY Network's Kitchen Renovations and Bathroom Renovations TV series as a Project Manager/Designer/Associate Producer. Holly is now excited to bring her education, experience and skills to her role as a Project Manager at Satoree. She loves all phases of executing projects and working with the Satoree team to meet and exceed the client's vision. Holly has a B.A. in Communication from Augsburg College with an emphasis in advertising and public relations and completed the Kitchen and Bath Design program at Century College. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends, boating on Lake Minnetonka and traveling.
Sarah Thomalla | Project Manager / Residential
Sarah graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead and received her bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. She is self-motivated, loves working with people and has been in sales for over 15 years. She excels in building relationships and maintaining them by anticipating needs, listening, pre planning, meeting deadlines and following up in a timely manner. When Sara is not working, she enjoys attending music festivals and spending time with her husband and two children.
Carrie Shere | Flooring Project Manager/ Installer Relations
Carrie is our Go-To for our Sub-Contractor onboarding and relationship building. She is also an experienced project manager whose main area of focus will be with our flooring division. She can be trusted to ensure a smooth installer onboarding transition and has a passion for building that trusting and long lasting relationship. When she is not in the office supporting us Carrie enjoys spending time in her colorful home with her 3 cats, hiking and exploring new parks with her Fiancé, and planning her next Vegas trip.
Joe Glad | Job Supervisor Residential
Joe has been swinging the hammer since he needed bigger bike jumps as a kid. He graduated in 2006 and joined the carpenters union that same year. He earned his journeyman status during his four-year apprenticeship, left the union in 2014 and was a residential general contractor for five years prior to joining our team.
Ben Sundlin | Job Supervisor Commmercial
Graduating with a Welding Degree in 2014, Ben joined the General Construction field where he has been developing his skills for the past 7 years, joining Satoree in the Spring of 2021. Ben brings a wealth of knowledge with him to Satoree's projects. While on-site Ben works diligently to make sure that all work being completed is to the customer's satisfaction. His positive personality and team oriented attitude make him a joy to have on any project he supervises. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his 2 cats, camping, traveling, and playing the drums.
Keith Kezar | Project Support
Keith has been actively involved in the Minnesota Multifamily industry for over a decade. His vast knowledge of Multifamily processes makes him a key asset in our turnkey renovation projects. He holds various degrees and certificates including a Bachelors in Sociology, and being an MHA Certified Maintenance Technician. Away from Satoree Keith enjoys playing Tuba, working on his model railroad and spending time with his wife Terri and their two Gordon Setters; Leopold and Theodore.
Brittany Peterson | Bookkeeper
Brittany has been the bookkeeper at Satoree since July 2016, primarily managing Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable. She earned her BA in Communication from Crown College in St. Bonifacius. When not in the office, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. She loves to read, travel and run.
